I offer a number of packages to address some of the most common goals of dog owners. There is always flexibility in my approach; every dog is different and of course every person’s goals for their pets are different. I’d like to create a customized plan for you and your pet.
Professional Training Walks
Do you feel like your dog is bored at home during the day? Would you like to see your pooch get more exercise and training?
Let me come walk your dog and provide them with the training and exercise they need.
My years training Guide Dogs for the Blind gave me a wealth of experience handling dogs on walks. I will tailor your dog’s training walks to address his or her temperamental and physical needs. On training walks your dog will receive training on good leash behavior, basic obedience, socialization and exposure as well as a good dose of exercise. Your dog will have fun learning with my patient, flexible and creative approach.
In addition to the care and exercise you give your pet, regular training walks can make a big difference in your dog’s quality of life!

Puppy Class
Just got a new puppy? Start off on the right foot with a puppy class. I’ll come out to your house and help you establish a healthy relationship with your pup in an environment that is safe and comfortable for your new pet. You will learn the basics of dog communication as well as teach your puppy to sit, lay down, come and start working on good leash behavior. We will also cover housebreaking, how to deal with teething, and how to safely socialize your puppy. This course comes with the added bonus of seeing your pup learn to trust and respect you!
Basic and Advanced Obedience
This four course series is designed to help you address the basics of sharing your home comfortably with your dog. I will teach you the fundamentals of basic canine communication, why your dog does what they do, and how you can let them know what you want. By the end of the course you should have the knowledge to teach and maintain your dog’s basic obedience and social behavior in the home and on leash. Your dog will be able to sit, lay down, come, stay and begin to walk on a loose leash.
Problem Solving
This service is designed for folks who are overall pretty happy with their dog’s behavior, but have some specific problems. Some common problems are jumping on visitors at the door, inappropriate chewing, housebreaking and overall excitability. Each dog is different and through a phone consultation we can set up a customized plan for you and your pet. These lessons will be conducted in your home environment so that we can evaluate and address the problem at its source.
